The Cinema, Television, and Emerging Media Studies program (CTEMS) uses storytelling as a foundation for the intellectual and artistic study of film and television. Our program emphasizes screenwriting, film analysis, theory, and criticism. It explores the history of national and international cinema, film production, African American cinema, and politics in Hollywood. It is designed to develop critical thinking, effective communication, and global awareness.
