HBCUGO.tv is slated for a New Fall Season launch on Friday, September 4, 2020. Headquartered in Washington, DC with satellite offices in Atlanta GA. and Chicago, IL. The HBCUGO.tv Network (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) is a 24/7, 365 days a year delivers on its’ platform education, entertainment, lifestyle and sports programming from an African American perspective.

HBCUGO.tv Network’s founding fathers are cable industry veterans, Curtis Symonds (CEO)Clinton Evans (GM) and Curt Simmons, (Program Director.)  HBCUGO.TV Network is a stand-alone, digital network devoted to the four HBCU Conferences (CIAA, MEAC, SIAC, SWAC) and its’ (105) member independent institutions. 

The HBCUGO.tv Network will function as the true cultural destination for all things that are “unapologetically” HBCU. HBCUGO.tv aims to provide students, alumni, and the greater community of HBCU enthusiasts with a pioneer platform that captures the diversity of experiences, perspectives, and aspects of “The Culture” that exist on HBCU campuses. Our digital platform will also provide a structured voice for emerging creatives in media production, branding and broadcasting said, Curtis Symonds, CEO, HBCUGO.TV. 

Clint Evans, General Manager, HBCUGO.tv stated, during these volatile and tumultuous times in America and the International community, these smart, savvy and plugged in millennials are seeking an outlet such as ours not just for quality entertainment but provide the voiceless to speak out and share their concerns globally on how to make an impact regarding social injustices. 

As part of the New Fall Season launch, our original programming consists of a Master Class series highlighting accomplishments of leading African American icons in STEAM. The COLOR OF STEM is where millennials can attain knowledge regarding higher learning institutions that have successful STEM programs and career opportunities within the industry. Rounding out the programming is acquired video content e.g. tennis great Zina Garrison will take you behind the scenes profiling top stars such as Serena and Venus Williams to name a few and (26) new episodes of the Black College Quiz series hosted by Nephew Tommy of the Steve Harvey Morning Radio Show.

Finally, viewers can access the network on several platforms to include, Roku (60M Digital HH), Verizon Fio’s (2M Linear HH) and Comcast Big South (7M Linear HH) via a partnership with Dallas/FT Worth, Texas based regional television station STGTV and launching late fall 2020 on Amazon Fire TV and Apple TV.
